Miyamoto Throwing All Kinds of Shade at the Competition
Shots were fired. All the shots were fired.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Miyamoto did some smack talking to competitors Microsoft and Sony. First, he attacked their business practices:
“What the other companies are doing makes business sense. But it’s boring.”
Brief, but cutting. Miyamoto then went after new game devs.
These younger game creators, they want to be recognized. They want to tell stories that will touch people’s hearts. And while I understand that desire, the trend worries me. It should be the experience, that is touching….
Man, I know Nintendo’s been bouncing back something fierce since Mario Kart 8 was released, but can’t we all just get along, Miyamoto-san? Not that I disagree with the man, mind you. [❤]
