How to duplicate items in Animal Crossing New Leaf
Via Kotaku. This takes me back to the days when you would drop stuff off on your GBA island, reset, get a mouthful from Resetti, then coming back to pick them up. This trick was discovered by Heatran over at Animal Crossing Community. I’ll let him tell you how he did it.
What you do is, drop the items off, then the host ends the game. As it saves, [the visitor turns] off the wireless via switch on 3DS. Bam. Duplicated. Cloned.
The timing takes some time to getting used to apparently. It’s confirmed to work. Now if any of you gents could duplicate some of those Japanese only items and send them my way, I would be eternally grateful.
